<td><span style="font-weight: 400;">The all-new tax module allows institutions to enable tax on all types of fee transactions &#8211; general fees, instant fees, transport and hostel fees. This module can be used for VAT or other similar tax systems. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">To collect tax on fees, enable it from the settings page in Finance section. Add the various applicable tax slabs and enter details such as Tax Identification Number. Tax is applied on fee particulars for general and instant fees and applied on fee collections for transport and hostel fees. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The applicable tax slab is selected before the collection is scheduled and recorded in the various fee reports when the fee is actually collected from the student. Tax reports show the total amount of tax collected under each slab.</span></td>

It does not apply to instant fees.</span></td>

<p><b>New features: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">Photo sharing is now moved to albums. Therefore, each photo now cannot be shared individually with different audiences. Multiple photos can be added to the albums at once. Sharing is now easier than before with two modes &#8211; Public and Private. Public albums are shared with all active users in the institution whereas Private albums are shared with only selected users. Albums can be easily made accessible or hidden by the publish and unpublish actions.</span></p>

It allows registering for selected subjects while applying for a course. Fees can be configured subject wise so that the applicant pays for the selected subjects only.</span></p>
<p><b>PIN-based registration: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is also a feature that is reintroduced in applicant registration. It allows institutions to enable a PIN or Pass Code for applicants to enter when they fill up a form. The PIN is generated in Fedena and can be physically given to the applicants and used as a means to allow genuine applications. </span></p>
<p><b>Contact Applicants: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">This new feature allows institutions to contact the applicant(s) via SMS or Email </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">to intimate them about the next steps or any changes in their application process</span></p>
<p><b>Detailed CSV Report: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">Now reports of applicants can be exported with all form details as CSV. Useful to get data on the type of applicants for the year and take decisions based on that. </span></p>
<p><b>Print Form and Print Receipt: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">The application form can now be printed from the settings page for each course. This is useful when giving a physical form for applicants to fill up. After an application is paid, fee receipts can be downloaded and printed from the application form page. </span></p>
<p><b>Fee Assign: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">During allocation to a batch, the applicable fee collections for the applicant can be now allocated using Fee Assign. </span></td>

<td><span style="font-weight: 400;">This all new module is developed to be used for different types of examination systems. In the first phase it is made compatible for the new CBSE examination system with support for other types of exams coming in later phases.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It allows the creation of multiple examination structures called exam plans can be further divided into one or more terms. Both subject based and non subject based evaluations can be created and marked. Subject based exams can be graded on parameters (called attribute profiles). Activity profiles are used to evaluate non subject based exams. </span></p>
<p><b>Note: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is the beta version of the Gradebook module with more features and functionality coming soon in the coming days.</span></td>

<p>It contains students from the selected batches and their associated fee collection details. Fee collection details includes particulars details, discount details, paid fee and balance fee.</p>
<p><b>Fee Collectionwise</b></p>
<p>Here the search goes for a fee collection from the selected batch and lists all the students associated with that fee collection and the collection details.</p>
<p><b>Studentwise</b></p>
<p>Search for the student and list all associated fee collections and its details.</p>

<li>Added ICSE  exam  category   for   exam   group­. ICSE course   can   have   different  exam categories  in   a   year   (First   Term,   Second   Term,  etc.)   and   each   category  may  have   both   internal   and   external  assessments.   Each   exam   category   and   corresponding   weightage  for  both  internal  and  external  assessments can be set by the user.</li>

<li>Added Internal  Assessment   group   for   each   subject   that   belongs   to   ICSE   course.  User   can  create   internal   assessment   group   for   each   subject   and   each   internal   assessment   group  has  many  assessment  indicators.</li>

While  creating  the  store  user  can  set  the  invoice  number  prefix   for  each  store.   If   no   invoice   prefix   is  set, then  default   will   be   “INV”.   The   invoice   number   suffix   will   be   starting   from   ‘001’   for   each   store and the suffix will be auto incremented by 1 from the last invoice suffix for each store.</p>

But, we have only six colors.  Hence, we found a need to include a  color  picker  for  choosing  the  color theme,   so   that   user  has  more options for color themes.   We also thought  to  include  a  list  of  fonts  for  choosing  the  font  style for labels, headers, paragraphs, etc.</p>
<p>This feature plugin facilitates the following:</p>

<p>In the same page, where we have the ‘Color Theme’ setting, we have the ‘Font’ setting as well. Please refer the below screenshot.</p>

<p>As evident from the screenshot, there are 7 font styles to choose from viz. Arial (default), Comic Sans MS, Garamond, Georgia, Times New Roman, Trebuchet MS, Verdana. Preview of each font is shown. Choose the desired font and apply the changes by clicking on ‘Update’ button.</p>
<p><b>Default date-picker for all color themes</b></p>
<p>Currently, the theme for date-picker depends on the color theme applied. With the new implementation, we have the default date-picker theme across all color themes as shown below.</p>

This feature enables the listing of all the existing dependencies, along with the warning. Dependencies include the following:</p>

<p dir="ltr">As of now, while marking attendance for a batch in the attendance register, once we click on a marking cell, a modal box opens and asks for the details like reason and Forenoon/Afternoon (for Daily attendance mode). On submitting after entering the details correctly, the attendance is marked successfully. So, the entire attendance marking process for a student is completed in at least 2 steps. By adding the “Rapid Attendance Mode” feature, we provide the user an added option to complete the attendance marking process in a single step.</p>

Since there can be more than one student with the same name in the same batch, it will create inconvenience for the user to identify the student for whom the marks are being entered. Hence, we now show Admission Number along with the student’s name in each such page (including Coscholastic result entry, FA scores pages) </div></div>

All schools may not follow 5 minute intervals and hence, we have reduced the interval duration to 1 minute. </div></div>

While allotting students for that course, the attachments will be saved. The uploaded documents will be shown inside Student profile &gt; More &gt; Registration Docs. The users can view, download or delete the documents if required.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><div class="su-spoiler su-spoiler-style-default su-spoiler-icon-plus su-spoiler-closed"><div class="su-spoiler-title"><span class="su-spoiler-icon"></span>User privilege changes in Reminder.</div><div class="su-spoiler-content su-clearfix" style="display:none">This enhancement brings more facilities to the reminder module and security features to prevent messages being sent between users who do not have direct interaction at the institution level.</p>
<p>The Reminder module now allows sending messages to parents directly. In previous versions messages could not be sent to parent accounts. The admin user has this feature. Employees who are not teachers can send messages to any employee or student. These employees however do not have access to send messages to parents. Employees who have been assigned to teach a subject have the option of sending messages to other employees, students and to parents of employees they teach.</p>
<p>Parents can send messages to teachers who teach their children and to their children also whereas students can send messages to the teachers who teach them, their parents and students in their batch.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><div class="su-spoiler su-spoiler-style-default su-spoiler-icon-plus su-spoiler-closed"><div class="su-spoiler-title"><span class="su-spoiler-icon"></span>Edit/Delete for past timetable.</div><div class="su-spoiler-content su-clearfix" style="display:none">A commonly asked requirement of many users was the ability to edit or delete timetables whose end date had passed and what was effectively called a past timetable. Such timetables had dependencies of attendances and hence were not allowed deletion in previous releases. This feature enhancement asks for the users permission before proceeding to edit/delete timetables. On accepting the warning message the associated data with that timetable like attendances, timetable swaps etc get deleted. </div></div>
<p style="text-align: left;"><div class="su-spoiler su-spoiler-style-default su-spoiler-icon-plus su-spoiler-closed"><div class="su-spoiler-title"><span class="su-spoiler-icon"></span>Revert Batch Transfer.</div><div class="su-spoiler-content su-clearfix" style="display:none">Batch transfer is done to transfer students from one batch to another. However often it may occur that one or more students need to be reverted back to the batch. This feature allows student to revert back to the batch he/she was before the transfer. Reverting to previous batch requires that there are no dependent data in the current batch. A check regarding this is performed for each student in the revert batch transfer page. Eligible students are shown with a clickable checkbox to allow for revert. Other students are listed with a Not Applicable message, clicking on which will show the list of dependencies that is preventing the revert.</p>
<p>Students will not be eligible to revert batch transfer if he/she comes under any one of the following conditions:</p>
<ul>
<li>If they are assigned to the elective subject of the new batch.</li>
<li>Fee category is created for the new batch and any type of fee particular category is created for the student. Fee collection date is also created.</li>
<li>If a student is assigned to a hostel and hostel fee collection is created for the new batch.</li>
<li>If a student is assigned to a vehicle and transport fee collection is created for the new batch.</li>
<li>If an Assignment is created for a subject in the new batch and student is assigned to it.</li>
<li>If an exam group is created for the new batch where the student belongs and exam scores are published for that exam.</li>
<li>If the attendance of the student for the new batch is marked.</li>
<li>If an online exam is created for the new batch and if the student appeared for that exam. If the student has participated in the poll conducted by the new batch.</li>

Previous releases had the option to add tags when adding books but they could not be edited or deleted. Now it allows to edit and delete tags from the Manage Tags link in Library. If the tag has been used in some books then a “Tagged in Books” warning is shown against the tag name, clicking on which will lead to the books with the tag name.</p>
